The Nona is yet another rich and satisfying experience from Pace Films. I’ve come to expect nothing less from Stone, Mellen, and all of their collaborators. I’ve yet to be disappointed. STACEY STONE

STACEY STONE, DIRECTOR, DP, EDITOR

Stacey Stone began filming with a camcorder she took to Chennai, India to document children orphaned by the 2004 tsunami. She studied filmmaking at Maine Media and created her first environmental film, My Planet, My Future, which screened at the Sundance Film Festival. Stacey joined Pace Films in 2014. Since then, her films have earned 76 distinguished awards and festival screenings across the United States and internationally.

“Stacey Stone first made her mark with the acclaimed documentary, “Man Behind 55,000 Dresses.” She has gone from strength to strength and her subjects have run the gamut from war to politics, to obsessions to animation, to environmental awareness. Stone’s own directing career is on a trajectory that can only be described as stratospheric.” Screencritix
